Search & Retrieval

Configure how the system searches and retrieves information from your Knowledge Base.

To search your knowledge base:

  1. Select Collection: Choose the specific collection you want to search within. You can search across a single collection or multiple collections simultaneously.
  2. Enter Query: Type your question in natural language (e.g., "What are the compliance requirements for data security?").
  3. Search: The system scans your documents to find the most relevant answers.

The system provides a comprehensive result view:

  • AI Summary: A direct answer to your question, generated by AI based on the retrieved documents.
  • Key Points: Bulleted highlights of the most important information.
  • Sources: Direct links to the documents and specific sections where the information was found.

You can fine-tune how the system retrieves information:

  • Multi-Document Selection: Select specific documents within a collection to narrow down your search scope.
  • Relevance Threshold: (Advanced) Adjust how closely a document must match your query to be included in the results.

By combining semantic search with precise filtering, you ensure that your AI agents and users always have access to the most accurate and relevant context.
